A more expressive mix of red and dark currant, humus, crushed fennel and a discreet dollop of wood gives way to bigger-bodied and succulent medium-bodied flavors that also culminate in a lingering if slightly lean finish. Again, this may well flesh out as the tannins do seem ripe and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt.
Mid crimson purple. More of a sombre meaty style of Pommard. Rather peppery behind, yet with good length. Light to medium bodied for Pommard.
