Nose: rather fresh, with a vague malty sweetness, honey, apples and melons. Also cut grass and leafy notes. Hints of marzipan. A light earthy note and quite some smoke in the background. Not very impressive, but okay really. Mouth: reasonably intense, showing bittersweet oranges, sweet malt and hints of mint. Develops on dusty leafy notes, with light pepper and clove. Light herbal tea. Liquorice. Finish: not too long, still on oranges and gentle spices.
Not bad but nothing special either: fairly common flavours and not the most confident delivery. Auction material.
