The Matsui Single Malt is aged in Sakura casks, made from the famous and iconic Japanese cherry tree. Double distilled in a pot still and then aged in Sakura casks in Tottori Prefecture, where the natural environment is conducive to the whisky’s maturation. The Matsui Sakura 5 YO Single Cask 48% is then reduced with natural spring water from Mount Daisen. This remarkable expression comes from a single Sakura cask, aged for 5 years. It beautifully captures the essence of delicate flowers, offering a sensory experience that embodies the perfect harmony between craftsmanship and dedication.
