The Matsui Sakura Cask is a single malt distilled by the Kurayoshi distillery in Tottori Prefecture. The Matsui Single Malt is aged in Sakura casks, made from the famous and iconic Japanese cherry tree. This tree holds significant cultural importance in Japan, often symbolizing the fleeting nature of beauty and life. It has always been a source of inspiration for Japanese artists.

Double distilled in a pot still and then aged in Sakura casks in Tottori Prefecture, where the natural environment is conducive to the whisky’s maturation. The Matsui Sakura 5 YO Single Cask 48% is then reduced with natural spring water from Mount Daisen. This remarkable expression comes from a single Sakura cask, aged for 5 years. It beautifully captures the essence of delicate flowers, offering a sensory experience that embodies the perfect harmony between craftsmanship and dedication.
