This is a very focused and super-elegant wine that glides over the medium-bodied palate in spite of the abundant acidity. Stunning lemon blossom and lemon zest aromas. Limited production. Drink or hold.

The 2024 Riesling Piesporter Goldtröpfchen GP, where GP stands for Grosser Piesporter rather than GG, is from a slightly elevated parcel with great water availability. It is alive with lemon on the nose, wonderfully bright and so superbly fresh and light on the palate. This has absolute purity and poise, all on a svelte body. At the very core, a peppery note makes the mouth water as much as the citrus and salty slate notes. Gorgeous finesse defines the 2024. (Bone-dry)

The 2024er Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling “GP” is a legally dry wine made from fruit picked on 30-year-old vines in the Niederemmeler part of the vineyard. This yellow wine offers a superb nose made of passion fruit, grapefruit, whipped cream, and fine spices. It is superbly playful and silky and precise on the palate and leaves a great feel of silky fruit and fine spices in the long finish. This is a gorgeous expression of dry Goldtröpfchen.
