Avis professionnels

James Suckling (96)

This herbal, citric, with a touch of restrained tropical fruit, as well as white pepper. The palate is medium to full bodied, long with a a focused sense of texture, complemented with restrained fruit. Detailed and complex. Drink or hold.

Jancis Robinson (17.5)

Rocky spice. Citrus peel and lemon balm. The purity and crystalline vision are without compromise. Salty, grippy finish. Quiet confidence and simply put: a drinking joy. Paula Redes Sidore

Vinous (97)

The 2025 Riesling Schlossböckelheimer Felsenberg Grosses Gewächs is from melaphyre and comes with an intriguing nose that unites pepper, grapefruit zest, salty earth and a touch of quince. Stoniness and tingling, salty stone define the palate with clarity, precision and majestic straightness. Beautiful linearity brings such clarity, such poise, such dynamic movement and an airy, soaring quality. A pure and airy expression of Riesling, seemingly from naked stone. (Bone-dry)

AP: 28 26. The 2025 Felsenberg -GG-, as it is referred to on the consumer label, and referred internally at the Estate as Felsentürmchen (there is a tower depicted on the label), has a beautifully appealing and complex nose of aniseed, thyme, minty herbs, orange blossom, mint, cassis, and a touch of apricot. It presents a superb structure on the palate, where there is grip and intensity. Flavors of smoke, spices, minty herbs, and citrusy fruits come through and add freshness to the whole. The finish is long and pure. This is an excellent Felsenberg GG.
