Quite closed at first, but a few swirls of the glass tease out effusive black cherry, candied strawberry and violet aromas. A very serious tannin structure for this appellation, but it has the concentration to easily balance it and a diamond-bright acidity that gives it great vitality at the very long, structured finish. Excellent aging potential. From half a hectare of vines on very sandy granite soil. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.
