The wild rose nose of this wine is complemented by intense white peach and pink grapefruit aromas. Incredibly racy, energetic and minerally. Tread carefully if you approach this sleek, incredibly focused, crystalline masterpiece right now, but the aging potential is immense. Limited production. Drinkable now, but best from 2027.

The 2024 Riesling Neumagener Rosengärtchen am Fels is alive with flinty reduction and lemon on the nose. It is stony and almost austere, but the aromas make the mouth water. There is finesse to the svelte shape of the wine. Citrus drives everything forward with energy and slate-inflected élan. It has a laser-like body and bone-dry finish. The 2024 is a Riesling for adults only. (Bone-dry)
