There are 13,680 bottles of the non-vintage Reserva Especiale Lot 017/00 (this number is on the bottle's label), which is claimed to be a blend of 1985, 1990, and 1994 Unico Reservas. This fabulous, youthful effort exhibits jammy blackberry, cherry, mineral, smoke, cedar, and new oak aromas as well as flavors. Full-bodied, dense, and concentrated, with great purity in addition to stature, this Reserva Especiale can be drunk now, but ideally needs another 2-3 years of cellaring. It should age for 2-3 decades.
