The Damascene 2024 Stellenbosch Cabernet Franc is a tightly focused, highly expressive wine that combines savory spice with impressive purity and definition. The palate is precise and controlled, delivering clarity rather than power, and it shows Cabernet Franc at its most articulate and site-driven. Stellenbosch’s decomposed granite soils and moderate maritime influence favor aromatic lift and fine tannin structure. Only 2,576 numbered bottles were produced, and it comes highly recommended.
