Terroir & origine: Puisieulx Grand cru, lieu-dit: "Les Petites Vignes“. Top soil of silt and clay, on hard limestone present at about 80cm, eastern exposure. Chardonnay planted in 1987.

Vineyard: The parcel is farmed with an environmentally conscious approach, inspired by biodynamic principles. Natural cover cropping, no herbicides, and gentle soil management. Certified organic in 2023. Hand-harvested at full maturity. The 2022 vintage offered a perfect balance of sunshine and rainfall,
yielding grapes of excellent quality.

Winemaking: Traditional and artisanal winemaking. Natural fermentation without added yeast or enzymes. Aged on fine lees in oak barrels (228 L & 400 L) for 11 months for the 2022 harvest, blended with a perpetual reserve started in 2017. No fining or filtration. Bottled on July 31, 2023 (fruit day – biodynamic calendar).
Disgorgement: scheduled for April 8, 2025 (fruit day).
Low dosage: 2 g/L – Extra Brut.

Sensory tasting: Golden color. Subtyle at first, then the complexity is revealed with a racy and large mouth, leaving on the lips a salty note and iodine. Label design the lines are drown out of the geological map of the soil of Puisieulx, the shalky white color for the color of the white grape chardonnay
