Kirchenstück Riesling G.C. 2024, A dry white wine from the Pfalz vineyard. G.C. refers to Grand Cru, the estate's top-tier line, reserved for its finest plots. The year 2024 proved to be a challenging one for the entire Germany range, as the harvest period was plagued by late frosts and unstable weather. Yields for Pfalz fell only about 4% short of the previous year's levels. The national harvest totaled approximately 7.9 million hectoliters, which was about 10% below the average for the past decade. The harvest in Pfalz took place from late September through early October.

The impact of this on the wine is that, compared to the warm vintages of recent years, it has a lower alcohol content and a lighter structure, with the characteristic tension and stone fruit nuances of Mittelhaardt. This wine is best enjoyed between 2030 and 2060.
