Tasted blind on a Champagne tasting after returning from a week of visting our import domaines in Champagne. What a surprise: a real old style Champagne of poached pear, apricot, lemon, some honey, butter and toast. The minerality is fine and gracious. Beautiful and full bouquet. Firm, concentrated and thick. Very well balanced. A real treat. When the label was revealed and the price shown, you can only draw one conclusion: buy and drink....
