The 2015 Brut Blanc de Blancs Millésime Grand Cru is a pure Chardonnay from Avize. It is golden in the glass and opens with a pure note of ripe Golden Delicious apple and a hint of buttery popcorn. Melted butter and flavors of golden polenta give much savor to the slightly loose palate that has an edge of bitter almond. The mousse is lively, bubbles burst softly. Very much a 2015 wine, but with freshness and flavor. Dosage is 6.7gr/L. Disgorged: May, 2022. - Anne Krebiehl MW
