Chardonnay from mostly Avize (some Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger). Stainless-steel vinificaton, 100% malo and six years sur lattes. Disgorged May 2022. Dosage 6.7 g/l.
Smells like toffee and frangipani and liquorice flower. Tastes like salted caramel and salted lemon; dill and olive brine; petrichor and apple sherbet. A splintered mosaic of a wine. It’s amazing. Oyster juice and yuzu. A long, tightly clenched finish but there is nothing rigid or bony about this wine. The texture is wonderful. Ruched rock. Thrilling wine.
