Dancer's high-density plantings have turned in a fine performance with the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot, a wine that bursts with aromas of pear, buttered toast, white flowers and crisp stone fruit. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it's textural and enveloping, its generous core of fruit underpinned by lively acids and chalky structure.
There is touch of petrol character to the ultra-fresh and cool aromas of mostly white fleshed fruit and pretty floral nuances. The delicious and markedly punchy medium-bodied flavors coat the palate with dry extract and buffers the youthfully austere, complex and lingering finale. This is really very good for such young vines, and I would describe it as an elegant Morgeot, something that one doesn't see often.
