A peppery and agreeably fresh nose freely offers up aromas of ripe red berries trimmed in earth nuances. The delicious, vibrant and succulent middleweight flavors possess an attractive mouthfeel before concluding in a lingering and slightly rustic finale. This forward effort could easily be enjoyed young or held for a few years first.
Medium deep crimson, this has just been racked. A pretty dark raspberry fruit, ready for bottling. Juicy, enough fruit to cover the rougher edges of red Chassagne, very nicely made. Drink from 2026-2030.
