Château La Croix de Gay is located in the hamlet of Pignon in the heart of the Pomerol appellation (Bordeaux, Right Bank). The vineyard spans about 4.2 ha after past parcel rationalisations, planted predominantly to Merlot (~96 %) with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. The terroir comprises gravelly clay soils and gravel terraces, giving wines described as rich, precise and representative of the Pomerol plateau.
