This Japanese blended whisky is at least 8 years old and is the first 100% blended whisky from Japan, which has been matured by Mars for 8 years. The “Asagimadara butterfly” depicted on the label is known for the great distances they travel and is always spotted in the village of Miyada, where the Mars Shinshu distillery is located.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh notes of oak barrels and a fresh forest air. Then notes of vanilla and lilies.
Taste: Sweetness of pear and honey and a spiciness of white pepper.
Finish: A calm and soft finish with a light touch of peat.
