|1st Fill American Oak Casks
|In Original Wooden Box
Tasting Notes by Dave Broom for Whisky Magazine:
Mature but marvellously fruity and fragrant.Apple, jasmine tea and BBQ
pineapple-there`s even a hint of bubblegum in there. With water a
fragrant sweetness like honeysuckle blossom, rose.
There`s sufficient cask to add a lightly oily suppleness and toasted almond. The pineapples continue.
Long, refined and elegant.
A stunning Glenlivet and a superb example of the benefits of long relaxed maturation.
Original Tasting Notes :
Nose: Concentrated soft fruits, traditional boiled sweets and juicy sweet orangesPalate: Incredibly fruity
(blackcurrant and pears) and full of life with a spicy and zesty
sparkle. There is also a wonderful soft peppermint flavourFinish: Long and dry
