Following on from Batch 1, we are proud to present the second batch of The GlenAllachie's oldest and most prestigious release to date: The GlenAllachie 30YO Batch#2 Single Malt Whisky. Driven by his desire to utilize the older stocks to create a truly exquisite whisky, Master Blender Billy Walker has harnessed his casks management expertise and superior blending skills to create this exceptional single malt.

Billy Walker has whiskes from 1990 and 1991 aged in PX and Oloroso hogsheads and puncheons, along with virgin oak casks. This gives the whisky that sherry-aged elegance, bursting with delicious mocha and sweet spices. Of course this is in addition to the typical GlenAllachie honeyed charm. The whisky is bottled at cask strength of 50.8%. No cold filtration has been used and the whisky has also been bottled at natural cask strength..

Tasting Notes:
Color: Rich mahogany.
Nose: Bursting with heather honey, sultanas and mocha, followed by waves of cinnamon, coconut shavings and dried fruit.
Palate: Full-bodied flavors of dark chocolate, figs and orange zest, with molasses syrup, raisins, cinnamon and hints of nutmeg.
