Papalin is a project set up by Luca Gargano, a brand which focuses on rum blends. In October 2013, Velier launched the first edition of Papalin, which is by now a highly sought after collector's item. The brand has been revived with these two new releases!
The two Jamaican rums are vatted rums (a blend of different pot still rums), and are 100% tropically matured in Jamaica.
This 7 year old rum is a perfect introduction to Jamaican rum for new rum drinking consumers as a general introduction to rum. It is balanced and accessible, and can be drunk neat, with ice or in the mix.
• Nose: Rich and balanced. Notes of apple, lemon, almonds, eucalyptus and burnt wood.
• Taste: Full body. Vanilla, spicy, menthol, licorice, cardamom and peppermint.
• Finish: Long and rich. Coffee, acacia, green tea, lemon, walnut and almond milk.
