The radiant golden colored 2019 Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Blaulack is highly intense and elegant on the nose that shows perfectly ripe and concentrated stewed peach aromas intermixed with honey and caramel as well as refreshing leafy and even oaky notes. Seriously deep and complex! Round and generous on the palate, with concentrated yet juicy fruit, great finesse and lingering stimulating crystalline acidity, this is a salivating TBA with great but piquant concentration and refreshing lemon juice and candied lime notes on the finish. Very long and made to age for decades. A world-class noble sweet wine bottled with 7% alcohol.
Breathtaking clarity and purity, but also stunning, caramelized-rhubarb character that stands out from the crowd of BA/TBAs with honey and dried-fruit character. Enormously concentrated and staggeringly long finish that has countless, subtle, spicy nunaces.
Finely woven aromatics of Reine Claude plum, sage, minerality, with date and sweet cherry. Subtle palate, neither conspicuous in sweetness nor in acidity, quite gentle and refined in style, dried pear on the finish, with date, mineral hue, and a finish defined by its texture.
