Moody and haunting black tea, black pepper and beef jus aromas, then flavors of grilled plums, dark cherries, black mushrooms, smoke and peat. So singular and distinctive, with an earthy personality. Medium- to full-bodied with moderate tannins and great depth and length. Drink now or hold.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Ceras wafts up with a florist shop bouquet, mixing shavings of blood orange with sweet lavender, incense and spice. Lifted and pure in form and feel, it offers zesty acidity and crisp red berry fruit, energized by a core of stimulating acidity. Crunchy mineral tones cascade across the palate as a hint of sour citrus combines with tart cherry through the long, nearly electric finale. With just 27.6% new oak, the 2022 Ceras is dangerously approachable yet wonderfully complex.
