Tasting Notes:
Nose: Refined and delicate. Roses, leather, apricot, beeswax, exotic fruits, hyacinth, ginger and spiciness.
Taste: Rich and firm. Sugared Citrus fruit, cocoa beans, nutmeg, quince and coffee notes.
Finish: Long and distinctive. Wood, apricot jam, vanilla, licorice, dark fruit and dried leaves.
• Rhum agricole from the island of Martinique, distilled in a Creole Colomn Still. This rum has an AOC (Protected Designation of Origin) and is a blend of two vintages: 2004 and 2006. This is the first independent bottling of Saint James rum!
• Part of the first Magnum Series, photo on label is by Elliott Erwitt. With this Saint James, the photo was taken during a wedding of one of Erwitt's friends and you can see the bride in silhouette.
