The panel found hints of many things on the nose-sugared buns and honey, apples, pears, and bananas,lemon bonbons and vanilla panna cotta; even rose petals,straw and wine.The neat taste was a real "Wow' of spritzy effervesscence and sweet and perfumed fruits( melon,sour apple,banana smoothie,grape and elderflower Shloer. The reduced nose found pear and nectarine flan served with custard in a beautiful garden with honeysuckle, rose and laurel growing all around. On the reduced palate- refined oak,wood sap and light leather from a confident but understated cask balanced the fruity and perfumed sweetness wonderfully.
