Rained 200 mm before harvest. Vintage with no reputation but it is great. High pH because of dilution. Opposite to 2005. Maybe only decadent people like this vintage, says Mitjavile. 'Expressive not impressive.'
Lighter and much more bricky than 2005. Much more mushroom here. Spice and gorgeous sweet red fruit. A hint of chocolate and some milk-chocolate oaky sweetness. Smooth and voluptuous. (JH)
