Chateau Palmer 2003, an elegant surprise

Chateau Palmer 2003, an elegant surprise

Out of all the fabulous wines Chateau Palmer has brought, the 2003 has to be the most underrated one. We took a chance to drink it along with the 1998 and 2006. ##

Across the wines to come out that year, Palmer’s 2003 can be called atypical for the vintage as it does not have the alcoholic or “hot” fingerprint. Instead, it is very elegant and fresh – an almost Burgundy-like wine. What a joy to drink, with its ripe and fresh fruit presence.
