The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Plessys has a more elegant and airy bouquet compared to the Clos du Roy: lemon verbena, Vervane and a touch of orange blossom (again). The palate is taut and fresh, slightly more bitter than the Clos du Roy. It has good weight with more tension and "bite" on the finish. The 2022 has wonderful poise and
Three small plots in the upper part. Finer clays and limestone with small stones, made in a mix of barrel and demi-muid. Very backward at this stage. Pale in colour, with quite a strict nose, then builds concentrated white fruit on the palate, a wine which will age well. Some delicacy as well as intensity.
