The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Chevrières 1er Cru has quite a bit of reduction on the nose, perhaps not quite as much as the Les Plessys. The palate is well balanced with a peppery opening, fine mineralité, hints of clementine and yellow plum. Elegant but linear on the finish, it feels sustained on the aftertaste. This is very promising.

"The 2023 Saint-Véran Les Serreuxdières might be tricky to pronounce but is consistently complex and tensile, while the 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé Les Chevrières 1er Cru is just outstanding."
