The year 2024 proved to be a challenging one for the entire Northern Rhône region. Spring was cool and rainy, and flowering was uneven, which posed a real challenge for the winegrowers cultivating vineyards on the hills of L’Hermitage. Domaine de la Chapelle formerly labeled under the Paul Jaboulet Aîné, closely monitored the season’s progress and selected only the healthiest Marsanne and Roussanne grapes for harvest. The result is the “Hermitage La Chapelle Blanc,” which, compared to the warm vintages of recent years, is characterized by fresher acidity; despite its restrained body, it possesses firmness and richness. Enjoy this wine with its slightly austere character. Furthermore, this wine is not intended for early consumption but is designed for long-term aging.
