Here there is a completely different personality as the earthy dark fruit nose is deep, complex, serious and somber yet the muscular flavors are supple and sweet but retain a fine sense of power and precision as well as the hallmark finishing austerity. This is an impressive wine with firm structure and plenty of punch yet everything is in fine balance and this will improve for up to a decade and drink well for another 10 to15. In sum, this is first rate.
