Professional reviews

Robert Parker (91)

The 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin Village opens in the glass with aromas of dark berries, spices, expresso roast and orange zest. Medium-bodied, supple and perfumed, with a fleshy core of fruit, lively acids and powdery tannins, it's a touch deeper and more structured than the Clos du Château.

Burghound (91)

This is also cool and very fresh with its combination of red and blue pinot fruit, forest floor and vague suggestion of the sauvage. The supple and seductively textured medium weight flavors possess a bit more volume while exhibiting slightly better length on the smoky, long and balanced finale.

Jasper Morris (92)

A little more depth of colour than the Clos du Château wine, still in rosy purple style, and perhaps offering a touch more fruit. Delicacy is at the forefront of course, encapsulated by a very pretty alpine strawberry finish.
