White Horse Distillers’ “Lagavulin 16” draws on the traditions of the former Mackie & Co., and evoking the era when Lagavulin made up the bulk of Peter Mackie’s “White Horse” blend. Released as a non-vintage (NV) expression, this whiskey still possesses the classic characteristics of a 16-year-old whiskey. Specifically, it features the distinctive coastal peat and iodine aromas, along with the depth imparted by long-term maturation in reused casks.
