From volcanic subsoils with a loess top layer. Matured with just 20% new oak, while German clones emphasise a generous fruit profile. Ripe strawberry leads the aromatics, framed by subtle notes of vanilla and spice from the oak. The palate is velvety and supple, with soft, silky tannins in a classically German style. Rich and full-bodied, the wine carries its generosity well, although the alcohol remains slightly noticeable on the finish.
