The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé, mainly vines in Chaintré augmented by plots in Fuissé, is matured in 15% oak barrels. It has a light hazelnut scent on the nose, and orange blossom and light apricot scents emerge with aeration. The palate is bright and lively, with fine delineation, focus and a harmonious, Clementine and Mandarin-tinged finish. The 2022 is pithy in style, which lends complexity. Very promising.
Mostly Chaintré with some Fuissé. Very old vines. Mostly made in tank with a few barrels for seasoning. A cool nose, suggesting though a certain juiciness to the fruit, which arrives, white fruit, develops nicely in class, and somewhat in volume, with a long clean finish. 13% on the label, probably 13.3%.
