The intensely yellow-colored 2019 Grüner Veltliner Schreck is deep, pure and mineral or stony on the nose, which needs a little while of aeration to open up and show its intense fruit aromas that are intertwined with crystalline bedrock as well as herbal notes. Intense and juicy on the palate, this is full-bodied, rich and powerful Veltliner with remarkable finesse and mineral freshness that leads to stimulating salinity. 13.5% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in November 2021.
