The 2021 Chardonnay Estate features creamy lime panna cotta, green pear and smoky flint tones on the nose at this youthful stage. Light-bodied and silky, the palate is tight and focused yet concentrated, and its long, ethereal finish suggests there's more to come. Give it another 3-5 years to unwind in the bottle.
Medium lemon in colour. Sappy spruce tips, lemon zest and mint aromas. Incredibly engaging. A swish of oak. Textural and rich but with high driving acidity and a lingering zestiness. I would love to taste this again in a couple of years. (SCJ)
A bright yellow hue, the 2021 Chardonnay Estate spent 12 months in barrel and is expressive of ripe honeyed citrus, white flowers, and the golden fruit of white peach. Medium to full-bodied, it has a lovely pithy texture, balanced ripeness, and a long finish. It’s a great value, and although it has ripeness, it’s well-balanced and retains a lot of freshness.
