Rudeles

Let’s introduce you to Bodegas Rudeles: a family winery from the eastern part of Ribera del Duero. Soria is a less famous sub-zone, but that does not affect its quality.

The vineyards of Bodegas Rudeles are located on hillsides at an altitude over 900 meters above sea level, where Tempranillo and local varieties such as Albillo find the perfect ripening conditions. All the vines are around one hundred years old, which is exceptional, especially for the Garnacha vines.

The work in the vineyards, the selection of the grapes and the vinification are all handwork, based on family tradition and experience for centuries. These unique aspects result in pure and complex wines at a high-quality level.

The Rudeles, the Cerro el Cuberillo is their most prestigious wine. This wine is only released in the best vintages from vines that are 110 years of age. The vines are positioned to exploit the few months of summer and hot conditions to the max, making sure the grapes will ripe in the most optimal way.
