The 2022 Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Kabinett (White Capsule) opens sensual and pure, with beautiful terroir aromas that are refined by red slate and herbal notes as well as perfectly ripe and elegant tropical fruit but also unique salinity. Round, lush and filigreed on the palate, with the Kabinett-typical transparency, this is a mouth-filling and stimulatingly mouthwatering Würzgarten Kabi that is, in the right moments, irresistible and pretty complex for a wine that comes in with 10% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 26 23.

Striking nose of lemon sherbet, cranberry and dried strawberry. Still a bit shy on the palate, but the balance is excellent, the lively acidity already beautifully integrated. Plenty of minerality at the long, delicately spicy finish.
