Deep and tightly wound, the 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Combettes opens in the glass with notes of pear, citrus zest, fresh bread, hazelnuts and almonds. Medium to full-bodied, taut and chiseled, it's chalky and incisive, with racy acids and a long, saline finish.
