Pere Labat Rhum Hors d’Age Millesime 2010 Single Cask is a magnificent novelty of the Poisson distillery, located at the island of Marie-Galante.
This rum is produced in a fairly traditional way, with a copper column potstill. The aging cellar is not far from the distillery, in a hangar between the sticks.
The 2010 Père Labat vintage has great aromatic power and enormous complexity with 8 long years aged in bourbon barrels.
Color: copper.
Aroma: dried fruits and chocolates.
Taste: Fruity character with notes of chocolates and roast coffee.
