What an intense wine. Fabulous bouquet of rich, sumptuous caramel. There's some sweetness here, but rapierlike acidity is underneath. Lean and sinewy at first, it opens up after a few hours. Excellent harmony, balance and flavors.

Mid mahogany colour. Elegantly nutty, refined nose. Very charming. Then an amazingly savoury fresh strike on the palate. Wonderfully demanding and refined. I could hardly bear to spit. Great tension on the finish.
