Wines from Domaines Ott

Domaines Ott

In 1896, Marcel Ott established his wine estate in Provence, a few hundred metres from the Mediterranean. Because of the phylloxera epidemic, the vineyards were cheaper but had to be replanted. Marcel Ott started to rebuild to create great Provencal wines from noble grape varieties. And today. 120 years later, cousins Christian and Jean-François Ott continue the work he started.

Domaine Ott consists of three estates: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. They produce red, white and rosé wines and each estate has its own terroir and character. It is only recently that Domaine Ott has started to produce L'Étoile, which is, as Jean-François explains, "the apotheosis of the Domaines Ott* terroirs and the most beautiful expression of a prestigious rosé from Provence".
