Robert Parker (92)

This is the inaugural vintage from this two-hectare parcel planted not far from Nantoux and incorporating agroforestry initiatives. Dancer's 2021 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Blanc wafts from the glass with aromas of lime zest, white flowers, lemon oil, crisp green orchard fruit and blanched almonds. Medium-bodied, racy and incisive, with tangy acids and a bright, mineral finish, it's a very strong start indeed.

Burghound (87)

A markedly cool nose reluctantly offers up its aromas of mineral reduction, freshly sliced apple and plenty of citrus elements. The almost painfully intense flavors are not quite as dense, but they are both finer and stonier with a similarly crisp and dry finish that offers just a bit more overall depth. This is worth considering and a wine that should also drink well on the younger side.
