The old vines are situated on the lower slopes, some in Sous La Velle in humid clay, the rest in Les Pelles with gravelly limestone. Yellow with a touch of green. Really elegant, much more so than the Bourgogne Blanc. Excellent weight, gunflint tension, cracking stuff! Nicolas Bonin thinks that the sunny style of 2019 really suits Meursault. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted: June 2022.
