Colour: light gold.
Nose: some sherry (sweetish) and the usual Ardbeg. Very bold and rich.
Mouth: great interplay peat-sherry. Lots of iodine, tar, and some burnt tyre notes ala Port Ellen. Long finish, on some strong medicinal notes (campher, bandages). A beauty, and in this case the
finishing seems to add some complexity. I wouldn't say a 'naked' version wouldn't have been better, though. 92 points (Davin 95, Olivier 95).
