Petite Arvine, Sylvaner and Marsanne Blanche are the three autochthonous "friends" that make up the 2022 Assemblage Blanc Trois Amis, which is deep and complex, intensely aromatic yet refined and slightly flinty on the elegant nose. Round and textural on the palate, this is a full-bodied, smooth yet refined and elegant, minerally nervy assemblage with delicate fruit and tannin bitters on the long and intense finish. This is a rich and intense but elegant and stimulating savory, still very young wine that shouldn't be uncorked all too soon, although it's a pleasure to enjoy even at this stage. I just guess, deducting from the long and complex finish, that the very best is yet to come. 14% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in May 2024.
