Neal Martin in e-Robert Parker. One of Argentina's outstanding wines, a blend of 40% Syrah and 20% each of Syrah, Tannat and Malbec matured in 60% French and 40% American oak, this has a well-defined, classy nose of black cherries, liquorices, dried orange peel with just a touch of VA lending it warmth and lift. The palate is full-bodied, very well structured with fine but robust tannins cloaked in pure black cherry, liquorices, soy, blueberry and a touch of white pepper. Very harmonious towards the finish that lingers longingly in the mouth. Wonderful.
