This rare bourbon from Kentucky Bourbon Distillers (KBD) in Bardstown is released every 5 years to keep the trademark active, Originally owned by Wwillet.
This particular single barrel was fillled 5 September 1990 and bottled by hand on 9th of December 2000. W
illett had stopped distilling by this point in the 1980's, so the barrel would have been sourced elsewhere by KBD (most likely their neighbors, Heaven Hill), who were still aging whiskey at the distillery.
